Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Philadelphia, Pastor Sam has always felt a deep calling to serve. In 1988, he answered that call, dedicating his life to ministry and community outreach. After three years of Bible college, he relocated to Georgia in 1991 to begin his pastoral journey. Over the years, his vision extended far beyond the pulpit—his true mission was to be a “boots on the ground” pastor, meeting people where they are and offering real, tangible help.

With a heart for those in need, Pastor Sam has spent over two decades in Habersham County, weaving himself into the fabric of the community. From leading Iglesia Príncipe de Paz (Prince of Peace Church) in Baldwin to serving meals at the Community House on Thanksgiving, mentoring youth through Teach One to Lead One, and providing meals, household goods, and interpretation services—his ministry is one of action.

His unwavering dream has always been to create a Hope Center—a place where people could receive not just food and clothing, but also the resources and guidance to move forward in life. In 2024, that vision took shape with the launch of Heart & Hands of Hope Community, an online platform designed to extend his mission beyond physical borders, creating a network of support, encouragement, and opportunity for all who seek it.

Additionally, Pastor Sam serves as the Executive Director of ACTS 20/20, continuing the legacy of its founder, Rev. Terry Pickle, while expanding the reach and impact of the ministry in the name of Jesus.

For Pastor Sam, his Ministry isn’t just a podium on a stage — it’s the streets, the homes, and the lives he touches. Through Heart & Hands of Hope Community, he invites others to join him in this mission, believing that together, we can be the hands and feet of hope.
