Growing in Grace

Welcome to the Growing in Grace Bible Study: Examining Being Born-Again and the New Covenant

The goal of this study is to help you to be aware, that your Heavenly Father is trying to get your attention, and to challenge you in your spiritual growth, and to give you the Biblical tools needed to clear the debris of life, that has been blocking your direct pathway to your Heavenly Father.

Lesson 1

The Father's Heart

We will share a step-by-step pathway to help you learn how to let the Holy Spirit guide, lead, and teach you in your personal growth and relationship with the Father and Son. Refer to John 16:7-15 for deeper understanding.

Lesson 4

The Devotional Life

This lesson equips believers to effectively and joyfully share their faith, meet their responsibility of leading others to Christ, and glorify the Heavenly Father through fruitful outreach.

Lesson 7

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Learn the difference between the Father's Promise and spiritual gifts. It encourages believers to seek the Promise for personal growth and use spiritual gifts to strengthen the Body of Christ.

Lesson 10

The Pathway to Inner Peace

Forgiveness is vital for spiritual growth. Unforgiveness hinders our relationship with God. Choosing to forgive allows the Holy Spirit to heal our hearts, bringing peace, freedom, and restored fellowship.

Lesson 13

Learning to Share God's Love

The Apostles initially envisioned a Jewish Christian Church. However, through the Holy Spirit's guidance, they recognized the Gospel's universality, embracing Gentiles into full fellowship (exemplified in Acts 15).

Lesson 16

So, What About Tithing?

Tithing honors God and supports His work. Giving a tenth of our income acknowledges His provision and aligns us with His principles, leading to blessings in both spiritual and material aspects of life.

Lesson 2

Learning How to Study God's Word

Study God's Word by engaging intellect, emotion, and will, and deepen your understanding. Meditation, memorization, and application strengthen your relationship with God.

Lesson 5

The Promise of the Father

This lesson emphasizes the importance of receiving the Holy Spirit for power, guidance, and overcoming challenges. It highlights God's desire for true worshipers and eternal life through Jesus.

Lesson 8

Scriptural Healing

Divine healing is a gift from God, received through faith and prayer. It is not earned by merit but was secured through Jesus’ sacrifice, as prophesied in Isaiah 53 and affirmed in 1 Peter 2:24.

Lesson 11

Work Out Yor Own Salvation?

Salvation is a gift, but believers must grow spiritually. Renewing the mind through Scripture, resisting sin, and aligning with God’s Word strengthens faith and deepens the walk with Christ.

Lesson 14

Water Baptism

This lesson covers water baptism, an outward sign of an inward change. It symbolizes union with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, declaring a believer’s commitment to follow Him.

Lesson 17

Faith Helps

Faith is foundational in the Christian life. It comes by hearing God's Word and is essential for salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9). Believers are encouraged to internalize Scripture, live by it, and trust in God's promises

Lesson 3

Learning How to Pray

Prayer is talking to your Heavenly Father. Prayer relieves anxiety, provides guidance, and leads to success. It connects you with God, offering wisdom, solutions, and peace amid life’s distractions.

Lesson 6

The Leadership of the Holy Spirit

This lesson teaches believers to recognize and follow the Holy Spirit's guidance in daily life, emphasizing personal growth, spiritual maturity, and effective ministry through attentive listening and obedience.

Lesson 9

Fruit of the Holy Spirit

This fruit is defined as evidence of a true Christian life. These virtues, outlined in Galatians 5:13-26, are not achieved by human effort but develop as believers live in the Spirit, reflecting God’s nature.

Lesson 12

Christian Warfare

Spiritual warfare stems from Satan’s rebellion. Believers must equip themselves with God’s Word and the Holy Spirit’s power to resist his attacks and stand firm in faith

Lesson 15

Holy Communion

Established by Jesus, Communion commemorates His sacrifice. It serves as a reminder of His death and fosters fellowship among believers. Participants should self-examine and confess sins before partaking

Lesson 18

Bible Map

Take a visual journey through God’s plan for humanity, from Creation to today. Explore key events, covenants, and His unfolding purpose, strengthening your understanding of Scripture and your place in His story.
